I have been so amazed and impressed by the level of talent here at MEI!! This will be our fourth bookmark contest. There are usually so many awesome entries that the judges have a hard time picking the winners.
The Rules… maximum size: 2.5 inches by 7 inches. Must be able to be scanned. Submit as many as you would like. Make sure your name and grade are on the back!
There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for hand drawn bookmarks and a 1st place prize for digital bookmarks. The winners for this year’s contest will be announced after spring break. Check out the previous winners…
Have you always wanted to read about proper ladies in a steampunk fashion learning the ways of espionage? Then the Finishing School series is just for you!
“C.S. Lewis said that, “A children’s story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good children’s story in the slightest.” and the same is true for YA. Gail Carriger approaches her YA as an adult book and successfully writes some compelling, interesting, and dynamic young characters. Perfectly executed.
So far I’m about halfway through and I can’t wait for the next installment.
This book is light, fun, and has very strong positive female role models. The action is well-paced and the heroine is approachable and likable. I now have this book in three formats and I feel that every penny was a great investment.”
